Have you ever run over an animal? How did it make you feel?

Couldn't stop,and ran over a rabbit on 95 one night.Felt allot worse that when I hit the drunk who ran into my truck with his bike!

I have hit a few racoons and 1 deer, there are way to many of them anyway around here so it didnt bother me much.

When I was 10, I ran over a black widow while riding a scooter. It was gross because I heard it crunching and saw its insides out.

Like the animal committed suicide

Yes but it was not my fault, always feel bad till date, this happened 10 years ago.

I ran over a squirrel once. I was coming around a bend on my motorcycle, and saw it running across the road, and then it turned around and came back - right under my tires. I was both "ah, damn, why did he have to do that, now he's dead!", and worried that I would wipe out.

I've never forgotten it.

I did see my friends dog get run over, she was devastated

Yes, several times, including hitting a deer once. Never on purpose, of course.

I didn't feel good about it, but I didn't lose any sleep over it, either.

For instance, one time I was driving along, and there was a squirrel on the side of the road.

It would have been fine if it had stayed where it was, but at the last second, it decided to try to dart across the road in front of me.

My front tires missed the squirrel, but my rear left tire didn't. Thump.

I didn't feel great that my tire flattened a squirrel like a pancake. But the squirrel should've stayed where it was.

I'll slam on the brakes first.

breaks my heart to say it but yes i was on my bike going down a hill and i was going too fast too stop in time when a cat ran in front of me and it made me crash and as soon as i got up i ran over to it crying and holding it saying i am sorry im sorry i tried to stop i tried..... and the owner came out and saw me in tears and hit me in the chest yelling at me and i was trying to explain what happened while crying and when the cops came they realized it was an accident and let me go but i still could not stop crying cause i love cats and never imagined i would ever hurt one it was the worst day ever i still cant help but think i could have stopped that from happening somehow

But I get so sad when I see dead animals on the side of the road and i always stop for all the animals even birds but if I hit one I would be so sad and maybe cry.

I was going 50 mph & a stupid raccoon, walked out in the middle of the road looked at me & I heard a thud, I felt a little bad but I wasn't going to lose control of the car slamming on my brakes to stop from hitting him.

A cat suddenly dashed out from a yard and stopped right in front of my tire. I felt lousy, but only a little. It was so fast there wasn't anything I could do.
