Lives, safety, and property. Just today I stopped a likely auto theft just by showing interest in what the perps were doing. They quickly made their excuses and ammscrayed.

I've mainly rescued myself, but I did move a friend out of the apartment she was sharing with a boyfriend who beat her. I helped her get out of that relationship, but unfortunately, she ended up marrying a different man who was abusive. :(

Yeah, when I was working at a theme park once, I rescued a kid about 4 years old from drowning. Never liked water, never will!

classmate was drowning in a farm pond, I went in after him with his blue jeans. He grabbed his blue jeans and I swam for the shallow water as fast as I could, I didn't want him climbing on me and taking me down with him.

sorta I have rescued friends from creepy guys in clubs if that counts.

Not really. I have helped people in trouble and have called for an ambulance on a few occasions but never really "rescued" anyone.
