I haven't milked a goat, but I have milked a cow. I really wanted to milk the cow so my aunt took me to the barn when it was time. It was an experience I will never forget and it was a good experience.
It was great. I was young, maybe 10. I was surprised about the warmth that radiated from the cow. I felt very small but not afraid. I could smell all of the barn odors, but it wasn't unpleasant. I remember I was very excited when the milk came out. I liked being there with the big gentle cow and my gentle Great Aunt.
If I do try milk some kind of animal, it will be a cow. For some reason I cannot handle the smell of a goat. Even their milk and cheese have that same smell.
