Im studying to be a fashion designer and I would like to no if you have ever made your own clothes (just curious) ;) If no tell me your favourite clothes shop :)

    I've sewn several shirts together by hand (because I can figure out computer programs in a heartbeat, but I can't figure out a damn sewing machine lol) out of scrap material. People always ask me where I bought them. =D They look bohemian.

    I only make some changes on them so they look better :D like rip my jeans and cut the sleeves off... decorate my shirts and stuff like that.

    I don't, but when I was 12 years old, I was in 4-H and my mother helped me make a wrap skirt and tote bag, we did a pretty good job.

    I've knitted before and sewn. Knitting isn't as scary (machine sewing) or as painful (manual sewing, oi my fingers).

    tell me about hand sewing hurts :( the amount of times I stab myself with the needle,I think I need thimbles for all of my fingers when I sew :(

    Yes, but only on a small scale....I've made shirts and the like.....my Mother used to make our clothes when we were growing up...not all of them, but a good portion of shirts especially...

    I made a skirt and a poncho in Home Education class in 1974. Then I went home and told my Auntie that I wanted to make some more skirts and maybe a few shirts. In the 80's I use to make all my daughter Halloween Costumes. They turned out pretty Great if I must say so my self. LOL ;)

    Yes the p.s was to say that I worn the cloths. I have to look up some of the old pic of my little girls in their homemade Halloween costumes. lol Thanks ;)

    I used to make most of my childrens summer clothes when they were little from ages 1thru 5. they were cute outfits and I used to enjoy it! Now I hate to even so a button on! :)

    I made a shirt once.
    I only spent like 2 hours on it, it looked like hell....
    The best part was I made my friend wear it to a bar.
    We had a blast.

    Cannot cut a straight line, cant not sew at all. Off the rack from J.C. Penney. Occassionally I will hit one of the Hilfiger shops. My wife just told me she buys most of my clothes "on sale" at Macy's. SO, there you go !
