Yes... I was willing to move to Vermont to be with Steve... He passed away last year...
And now I have met someone who makes me just as happy as Steve did (if not happier), and due to his commitments with his band and needing to be close to London, I have moved down to his area so that we can start our life together...

Give up my entire life to be with them? What does that mean exactly? I guess you mean major change. I did for my husband. After getting married we moved away from everything I knew to the other side of the country in Northern VA. Does that count?

Thank you, I know. The competition could not have been any greater. I lost out to Jesus Christ with a fundalmentalist Christian who wants to be a pastor because her strenght in Jesus Christ was not strong enough yet to be able to handle a relationship with a nonbeliever? I'd say that puts me in pretty good company in her eyes.

That's okay... I know it sound cliche, but surround yourself with friends and people you care about after you've had a few days of you time... And then you can rediscover yourself and learn to love who you are again :)
