Quantcast

Have you ever looked into a strangers face, or a bunch of people in a crowd and wondered who is going to still be with us tomorrow?

I defer to Melicious's comment below.
I do remember being in my teens and thinking about mortality a lot, but as I have gotten older I think of it less. Ironic huh?

The song that always got me was Pink Floyd's Time. That song has a way of making you question your mortality and life big time.

This is something I think about often, and I don't believe it to be morbid. To me it's a fact of life. I just wish the best for everyone around me.

The person who is liked at first sight and has been impressive from the beginning only will remain a long way with you.

This isn't something to think about all the time at all. It just makes you appreciate life more.

My mom spent her last day alive with me going to the store and browsing around. We even got my sister's ears pierced that day. I thought of all the people who assisted us and thought about how they had NO CLUE that the person they just spoke to would pass away within five hours. It's not morbid to think about, but it's a pretty sad thought.

But I repeatedly wonder if someone's done something before, if someone's said this before, if I'm the first person EVER to say blurfanerguliganierEmmanaista...

Don't worry too much about the people saying its a morbid thought. I don't think it is. I don't think about it alot, but the thought does occasionally cross my mind. Besides, if the never thought about it why didn't the vote as such instead of saying No, makes me wonder if someone isn't in a bit of denile.

I don't think so either. It's just a normal thought once in a while and for me it brings appreciation for each day. :)

No, but I looked out of a school bus window at the passing town one day, when I was 15, and thought, "I will never see this neighborhood like this again." Within 2 hours, a tornado came along and wiped out that neighborhood, schools, and almost the entire town; while I stared at the clouds over our farm and wondered why we did not have electricity to milk the cows :-(

Are you okay? I only ask because it seems you are questioning our (your) mortality, and some times people do this when they are down.

I am, thanks. I just sometimes think about these things and I thought I'd ask others.
