I never lie, I cannot even remember a time when I did tell a lie actually, maybe when I was married, sometimes I would tell my x wife I was at the office and I was at the bar, that kind of thing, but that's about it.
Christian there a lot of people who make an effort to live lives at the highest of standards and take a pride in being honest!
And still somewhere at some time during their life they have lied!
Your example of telling your wife that your were in a place where you weren't is an example!
Or simply, some when asked by others how they are when being greeted will respond that they are fine, not wanting to go into detail about the bout of diarrhea they are experiencing
Sometimes others will lie thinking that they are protecting children from information they are too young with which to cope!
Others lie to protect themselves or to promote their ambitions!
If someone says that they have never lied, that is a lie!
Yes, I did just 5 minutes ago actually. Last Friday, a storm came through and pounded my neighborhood with 2 1/2" sized hail...tore up the roofs, siding, windows, etc. By Sunday, there were already out of state "contractors" coming through wanting to give estimates. I told some of them that I wasn't interested b/c I would rather keep my business local. They kept going on and on and on. So tonight when another one came calling, I answered the door and said I already hired someone even though I haven't even called someone yet and the person said ok and left immediately. Wish I would have thought of that earlier....
Lawn? What lawn? LOL. We don't have lawns left here as we have had 60 days worth of 95-100 degree weather. We are in an extreme drought which is the worst level. I've been praying for rain and praying for rain and this past week we got about 7" worth due to the hurricane. Thanks for the offer!
