My wife does a very good job of doing that, every time I look at her.

That's a good question; Your mind has it's own alarm clock, you can set it to go-off whatever you want. ie. as soon as the exam is over, or 15 min. or 1 hr.. you will be amazed at how accurate you body clock is; That was a good question; Thanks

I believe they are 1 & the same, I have done both & don't personally see any difference; Although. I start meditation with deep breathing & I start self-hypnosis with suggestive thoughts ie your eyelids are getting heavier & heavier. until, you can not open yourr eyes. or your arm is getting heavier & heavier, until, I can no longer lift my arm.

Actually, it is pretty easy, while in Grad school, I bought a book called Self-hypnosis in 2 days, I can't remember the author. I used it to improve my ability to recall & improve my grades, at one time, in my freshman yr, I was about to get the boot for less than a 2.0 GPA, When I graduated, I was on the Dean's Honor List, with a 3.0+ GPA, all because of that book, when it came to Exam time, I would go in to a hypnotic state (for memory recall), it was like having my notes right beside me! I could even get pin-pricks, W/O feeling any pain; Neat Stuff

Sorry, not here, I spent 2 days learning, & weeks practicing. I read a book & spent 2 days pretty much by myself with few interruptions (food & toilet duties). I still practice the techniques. I would suggest you do some on-line browsing; The book I read was titled learn Self Hypnonsis in 2 days. I believe that particular book is out of print & I do no remember the author's name, although, I can rememer her picture. definitely female, her picture was on the book cover. Another interesting topic is NLP. ie, language programming

Can you visualization, is an important part. ie. can you picture yourself walking on a beach? Some people can & some people can't. I'm pretty good at it. the more you practice, the better you get.
