We were together 3 years. He was emotionally and mentally abusive and I finally left him. Time has healed my wounds, along with counseling and I am a much stronger person.

Yes. My husband of 15 years cheated on me - multiple times.

I coped by throwing him out of the house, divorcing him while keeping the house, everything in it and the car (my state really looks down on adulterers). Then I mourned the end of the marriage like a death and moved on with my life.

Yes. Twice. I cried all the time. And it was really hard to handle. But I feel better about both situations now. And it wasn't relationship-related.

Basically we were together for 3 years when I found out he was cheating on me with his ex who had cheated on him. I was heartbroken and was depressed about it for over six months then one day he texted me saying how he missed me and still loved me and how he would always love me more than his ex. At this point after not only being cheated on but being emotionally abused I couldn't take it anymore and told him I couldn't be with him anymore. I distracted myself from the pain by working and doing all the things I enjoy like going out with my friends and now a year later I couldn't be happier.

I liked him ever since we were kids.. thats about almost 3/4 of my age now... he broke my heart,, how did I moved on?? I killed all my emotions including my heart.. my heart beats quietly now, even our school nurse got surprised because she couldmt feel my pulse on my wrist.. she needed a stethoscope..

but I thank that guy though... I see everything clearly ever since he broke my heart... I became mature in thinking.. but now, I cannot love a person as a man but I do hope I can in the future...

Well my used to be boyfriend tld one of his friends tht he was in a long distance relationship. His friend tld hym to break up wif me because it wouln't won;t etc so he did i cried so much, i cried myself to sleep, i could not eat my breakfast right, we started being a couple in June 25 2010 ended October 20th 2010 we still talked to each other for a while till January 3ish of 2011 he deleted me from facebook. I don't know why, he said "You're the nicest person i ever meet". I was his 1st girlfriend. but oh well but around January of this year he readded on this site where i post my art, poems, weird... O_o

Other: I don't care about love, because I don't need it to live. The only things that I need to live are money, food, water, shelter and knowledge. I'm not going to pay my college with "love"; I have to pay it with money. I cannot eat "love". "Love" is not going to cover me when it rains; money will. If I take a math test I'm not going to use "love" to pass it. Besides, I wish all emotions could be obsolete for me.

This is just my humble opinion, but money, shelter, and knowledge don't mean much unless you have someone to share it with. I agree that love can't put food on the table, and love can hurt severely, but I love love.

last june it happened and i was fu.cked up for a while,,, it was an 8 year relationship so was hard but life goes on just gotta take it on the chin,,, ya be grand,, time is a great healer,, i believe everything happens for a reason and im having a ball of a time here in Australia now im happy plus workin and meetin new people and im gonna travel a whole lot more and if we had not of broken up id be back home in Ireland, although i love Ireland with all my heart i just cant progress in life there without work and stuff, so maybe this is the turnin point in yer life too! so dont feel so bad coz life goes on,,,, :)

Yep, Xanex and whiskey got me through most of it. Still dealing with it though....3 years later....and still having....ahem....relations with him. I need to sever the ties....still can't bring myself to. You can't always choose who you'll fall in love with.

Well I fell in love with one of my best friends and because hes an attention whore he basically ate up all my attention I gave him and acted like he cared about me. He had a gf and they're still dating. He really hurt me though because we were like really close and then he just stopped talking to me and is like been avoiding me and shit. I still love him even though he's a complete douche bag.

I spent 3 years in a Romance that was so deep that we never fought for more than two minutes with it ending in a heat of kisses, He protected me and was always there. I couldnt breathe without him it felt like, he died protecting me...
