Have you ever had a dream when you woke up you didn't know if it was real or a dream?

i spent one morning looking for a dress MUM had bought me, but couldnt find it, when i asked MUM if she had seen it, she looked at me silly , and said "yu must have drempt it. i was sad it was a pretty dress too.

I've also had dreams within a dream. Y'know where you're dreaming and then you wake up thinking it's over, and then you realize you just woke up from the dream within a dream. This question makes me think of "Inception."

To this day I still don't know if it was a dream or not; But in this scene I woke up startled by something as if someone shook me awake but found no one in the room with me. There was a loud noise outside, going on. So I opened my window out of curiosity, the sound stopped before I could open it all the way. I remember admiring the nice white blanket of snow covering the street and cars as some more snow floated down. It was night. Then that sound started again it was the city evacuation noise. Terrified, I paced in my room not knowing what to do I decided to shut my window and I then proceeded to bury myself in my blankets like a coward just trying to shut the noise out. After about a couple of hours I finally fell asleep.
If this was a dream it was the most lucid dream I have ever had. When I touched, I felt. I swear I could really hear the noises in this "dream".

i have heard & felt things in my dreams, actually touch & feel it and be aware of this feeling,
its hard to explain.

I've never had a dream, I was told that possibly I dream and forget it before I wake up, or there's a possibility that I don't dream.

I had a dream just the other day,that i met this girl i known for a while in person. and i was really nervous and i woke up sweating and stuff.

But usually just for a short period of time. I remeber waking myself up crying once when I was little because I dreamed my Dad and brother had died. Of course I realized pretty quickly it was only a dream thank goodness, but it was so vivid I felt bad all day.

I call that dream travel. Sometimes your soul goes to the other side when your asleep...those are the dreams you can actually feel.

Yea just the other night I dreamed that I was hanging out with my friends and when I woke up I couldn't remember what it was and then later at school I remembered what it was but I didn't know if it was a dream or if I really hung out with them the day before...

That happened to me today... I started talking about something to my friend and she was like "That never happened" and I was like.... o.0

yes! Especially when a friend or family member was in my dream and I talked to them about something. Then I wake up thinking, "Did I really talk to them about that?"

its not untill i realize that im laying in my bed that it was a dream

That's me every time I sleep. I've had extremely vivid lucid dreams since I was about twelve. They're at the point it's I'm pretty much awake but just asleep. All my senses are 100 percent in the dreams, I have complete control over my thoughts and actions but not of the dream itself. The any one of dreams I have would rock the box office if they were movies xD So many friends have told me to write them down 'cause they'd make mad $$$ as books or movies. And they're all different genres. My dreams are my own personal movie theater. I love my brain =D

I often had dreams where I really believed I was flying or hovering in the air by use of my arms brushing against the air - almost like treading water with one's arms to remain aloft lol!

My dreams are always vivid and i can wake up and go back to sleep and continue with the same dream and most of mine feel real when i do wake up....
