Have you ever had a dental catastrophe?

Almost everyone I know has had some big dental horror story, but not doctor story.

I have long tooth roots and have always been told that my teeth need to be "cut out", well I broke a tooth (long story) and went to a dentist who decided even after taking an x-ray to "pull" the tooth.

Long story short, the tooth came out but, he ripped my gums and almost broke my jaw in the process and he had to actually put stitches in my gums.

The worst part that made it even more catastrophic is the fact that even after getting the maximum amount of local anesthesia I was still able to feel excruciating pain because I have a very high tolerance to pain medication...

Wow! That was really bad. sorry.

I've changed Dentists because my last Dentist pulled the wrong tooth. And the one he was supposed to pull was his fault. I had a root canal done and he missed one of the roots in the procedure, three weeks later it was still hurting so he reworked the root canal and cracked the tooth. I had to reschedule, and when I returned he pulled the wrong one. The part that I got upset about was he charged me for everything,,,,,

I had a root canal done once that didn't take and the dentist was still harassing me about the remainder of the bill after the teeth were long gone. He had a lot of "nerve"!

Ha-ha. He sure did. I also do not like having as many xrays as they want me to.

Ha, ha,,,, Sounds like he tried to get on your "Nerve" as well,,,,,lol,,,,,,,,,
But it's really not worth getting down in the mouth, is it? ,,,lol,,,,,,,,,

That is one of the worst I have heard.
