I recently got them. Beware, they never clip the wire at the end properly and it cuts your cheek. Make a point of asking them if the wire is clipped properly. And the wire moves and cuts your cheek even more. You'll see. You will need the wax they give you.
It is, I've never had a problem with my teeth since removing my braces. There is a small gap between my two front teeth. But Women think that's cute. Plus it's easier to floss in between them.
My kids have learned that teeth sometimes still shift, and have gone back for a single line wire on the back of their teeth to reposition them...they each genetically had one missing baby tooth, hence no adult tooth either...each had the same exact tooth but on different sides of the mouth...isn't that weird...the dentist thought so...
