For a while after I change numbers, I forget sometimes and will say the old one and not what I just turned.

I did forget how old I was a few months ago. I was so looking forward to retirement that I was telling people I was two years older then I was. My daughter brought me bad to the sad reality that I can't retire until 2019.

The whole entire time I was 27 I was telling people I was 28 when they asked me my age, it wasn't until I turned 28 that I realized that I was actually turning 28 and not 29 so I spent my entire 28'th year telling people I was 27 to make up for my error.

But my stepmom did. Whenever somebody asked her age, she always said 43. We were walking around a mall one day when she suddenly stopped and asked if me or my sister had a calculator. Turned out, she's 46.

Happens to me when I've just turned that age. Similar to when the year changes. Only last for a couple days or so.
