It's strange; since our mother-daughter relationship is more like sisters.
So, it's a bit of competition and a lot of fun :3 Hell yeah!!!

from how they treated me when I was a child, and cause why the hated black people. cause for some strange reason, I am nothing like any of the family I can from. I could never beat a child till she could not sit down but my father could. my mother and father should have never been parents. I have so many scars from what they did to me. thing that I will never really be over. the things I went through I would not wish on anyone. I should have an older sister but mommy did not feed or change her. she died before I was born and if it were not for my grandmother I would be dead from not being feed and changed.

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that, well it just goes to show that you are much smarter than they are. Good for you and thank goodness for your grandmother.

she is the only one in my whole family who loved me and now she does not even know who I am. I miss her and the other older ladys that feed me when I got bigger.

Why doesn't she know who you are? Is she suffering from Dementia due to age? Well you need to love yourself more than anyone else ever could. And take nothing less than that in your relationships. And give your kids so much love they will always remember that you loved them to no end.

she has Alzeimer's and because I got a way and stayed a way for some time. I was hidding from my mother and father and did not she her so she forgot me. I was scared of my family and thought they were going to kill me.
  • Deborah Ifemi 2011/05/21 21:07:44

Well with Alzheimer’s it really wouldn't matter if you saw her every day she would still forget. One of the etiology (symptoms) of the disease. Well just know that she loved you and you loved her.

Not a problem, I hate to hear of children suffering so much especially at the hands of their own parents. Well hopefully you will take care to never allow any of their crap to alter your direction in life. You are the one good thing they did in their lives. Remember that. hands parents care crap alter direction life lives remember Beautiful

My mother was jealous because when she still sang she was only a second soprano and I sing and I'm a soprano and she is pretty damn mean about it.

'cause my mom is sooooo unfair. She buys kind of expensive clothes for my dad, but for me, she can't buy even one. Not unless when I grew up xD she always bought expensive shoes for me xD lol!

Yes, and I think some, not all, parents have conflicts... on the one hand they love their children and want them to do well but I think it hurts them a little inside when their child starts to surpass them at some things. Maybe it is just a feeling of not being needed as much anymore but I think that it sometimes involves feelings of inadequacy and even a touch of envy and jealousy.

No, I've never felt either of them were jealous. I know they've been proud of things they couldn't have done, but idk about jealous. My mom has told me that the things she wishes she could do, she's just doing them through me. Idk how to take that with jealousy though lol.

I doubt they were ever jealous but I do remember even as a kid preferring to dress up in 'nice' clothes as opposed to 'everyday clothes' and whenever we'd go out to eat as a family my dad would gripe about me not being in jeans and a tshirt or something because I'd be wearing dress slacks and a nice shirt, usually with a tie O.o I think he was just jealous I looked better than him :P
