Yep, when I was 20, found myself hitting the dead in sign pretty hard, Woke up two days later in intensive care. Scarey to be that depressed and thinking there was no other way out.
No never, maybe because I have never had the drudgery/stability of a 9 to 5 type of job, or maybe because I have taken decisions on the spur of the moment where others would give the same decisions a great deal of thought, when I have found myself in a dodgy situation I have not hesitated to deal with it, taking the bull by the horns so to speak.
I also know that I will never wonder what something would have been like had I tried it, I did :)
I was a former drug abuser and have been homeless twice. I live in the land of opportunity. This is a special place unlike any the earth has ever seen. With hard work and determination we can always better ourselves. This is not only the land of opportunity, this is the land of redemption.
Mopeder, I don't know what you are facing right now but I have indeed been in some very dark and ugly places in life. I have found that sometimes just getting out of bed takes effort but I have also found that it is always ultimately worth it. I have no real words of wisdom for you but I do send you good thoughts and will pray for you.
Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.

SORRY, I have done a lot of things, and been to many places in my life, and there way to many thing's left to do, your life is what you make it, if it's a dead end then you have nobody to blame but yourself
It's about whether one has ever thought their life was at a dead end, right? The answer is I get that feeling every time I think of a second term for Obama.
Sorry!
In that case, get off your dead end, study the issues rationally and you will realize how good for America Mr. Obama is and probably will be for four more years of moving FORWARD!
No not really . The more obstacles that get in my way the more I overcome and that makes me stronger . Hell I'm still alive and kicking something I didn't think I would be doing when all odds seem against us . Just keeping the faith .
As bad as it has gotten at times in my life I know there is more I am suppose to do and will accomplish with the next 40-50 years I will walk this earth.
Find a positive person in your life and chit chat with them and see how they deal with the garbage that comes in everyone's life from time to time. You should feel much better soon. Yes I am a child of the 60's and believe that all will get better you just need to find your path.
I also know that I will never wonder what something would have been like had I tried it, I did :)

I have a friend that always says, "It is a great life, if you do not weaken".
Sorry!
Road to nowhere !
