I fish for Shark in the Gulf of Mexico and Black Tip is my favorite. We like it cut into 2" thick steaks and cook it on the grill. Stingray is totaly delicious, for those of you that don't know when you order Scallops in alot of restuants if it is perfectly round like cut with a cookie cutter it's more than likely Stingray they both taste the same.

I don't really like seafood, but I thought stingray was pretty tasty. Never ate shark before though....stepped on a nurse shark while walking on a submerged sandbar once, but never ate one.

I have no problem eating exotic foods, but I have no desire to eat shark. Sharks are being hunted and killed to the point of extinction. They are a vital part of the ecosystem. They need and deserve to be left alone - better yet; protected.

I have eaten shark many times. One part of the preparation process is to brine it in butter milk or a salt water solution. Some types are considered more palatable than others.
Stingray can be very good too. If you cut the wings with a cookie cutter, they can be passed off as scallops, which some restaurants do.

Shark is on the menu in many restaurants. I've ordered it off the menu and have eaten shark that I personally caught. I've never had an opportunity to eat stingray but certainly would if it were available.

just got some fresh caught brown shark from one of my husband's coworkers who ran out of money early last week so I packed an extra sandwich and snacks for him in my husband's cooler. paybacks are tasty! :)

Not knowingly anyway, I believe a lot of the imitation crab meat is made from Shark.
