No! No matter how crazy it gets, I'd never call the cops!

Yes! I had to do it, they were out of line!

I called on both my ex-husbands. Neither seems to understand that my house is in my name, I pay the bill, I own the keys, which all means they have no right to be on the property should I say, "Leave!" When the marriage is over and chicka has moved on, the woman's residence is strictly her own. Both times my exes received police escorts off of my property and were told not to return on pain of arrest and incarceration.

My ex attempted to rape me, when I was just 10. I wasn't the one to call- my friend did.

How old was the ex? And you were 10?
  • Aly Andrea October 25, 2009 13:10:34

He wasn't actually an ex, he was my friend's brother, he was probably 16. I was at my friend's house, and he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I didn't know much better. So i went to his room, and then you can guess the rest.

My husband. He was drunk and out of control. He was trying to get to our neighbor to hit him. I didn't want them to fight so I grabbed the back of his jeans and held on for dear life. After several minutes of that, I was loosing strenghth. He's 6'4" and I'm only 5'9". I was getting tired from holding him back. So I did a leg sweep and got him on his knees, then jumped on his back and put him in a head lock until the cops showed up. They thought I was fighting him. I kept having to explain that I was just trying to keep him and our neighbor from fighting. He thought I was joking when I called, but realized I had told the truth when like 30 cruisers showed up. It was thoroughly humiliating. I told the police to take him in, that I didn't want him here, but his mother begged them to let him go to her house. They said they wouldn't take him in as long as he left the house that night, and didn't come back til he was sober. Not a fun night. I am so thankful that I had already put the kids in bed. They were asleep and have no idea that even happened.

Yes! I had to do it, they were out of line!

    Sadly, yes.

During my divorce, I had to have my X wife arrested for breaking and entering and theft.

I had one, just one photo of her naked. It was taken when we were young and newly married and I cherished it as a memory of the happier times. I had is stored in a box that also contained all my other adult reading material.
At one point, her boyfriend managed to get her all wound up thinking that I had, or was going to post a copy of that photo of her on the internet. Of course, I would sooner sponteneously combust than do that, but she was f'in crazy and under the influence of idiots.
She broke into my house and stole that box of porn, just to get the one photo back. She though she could get away with it because I wouldnt dare embarass myself by reporting the theft of a box of porn, but I had to teach her a lesson about breaking into my house and stealing things on a whim. This was a matter of right and wrong.
I called the cops. Boy was she shocked when they showed up at her house. She admitted what happened thinking somehow that owning a box of big tit magazines was a worse crime than burglary and theft and that somehow she would be heralded as mother of the year for taking it out of the house that I shared with our children. Instead, she got arrested. Oh, man ...

After spending some time in the back of a police car, I intervened and saw to it that she didnt actually go to jail, but I did press charges in civil court and held the case over the divorce procedings. It did not go well for her.
After the divorce, I dropped the charges.

I've called the cops on my ex so many times it isn't funny. He was an abusive control freak and I left him. And now every time he violates the restraining order I'm calling the cops.

    Hello Jello

No, but I've had to call the cops and paramedics because of my mother. She was drunk, belligerent, and had a badly bleeding cut on the back of her head from falling outside and hitting her head on the sharp edge of the metal slide-door frame. We tried to stop the bleeding but she kept screaming that we were trying to kill her at the top of her lungs, so we called 911.

She was still trying to tell them that we were trying to kill her, but we showed them the 3 bottles of wine she drank and explained what happened. The paramedics simply left after treating her head wound (not sure what they thought), but the cop knew we were telling the truth and advised us that she needed help (that she still hasn't gotten, dad's an enabler and mom's in denial) then gave us directions to the ER to have it looked at by an actual doctor.
