I have in the past and probably will in the future. Sometimes, all it takes is an ad campaign that I find particularly repugnant. Sometimes, it's the philosophical ideals or the actions of the company. I know I'm only one person, but if I don't like the way a company does business, I won't do business with them.

I avoid GE products. They basically own obama and msnbc, nbc, and cnbc. They obviously put liberal and environmental politics into their businesses and television stations. They are part of this huge go green movement and have donated exorbitant amounts to the environmental wacko politicians and causes. Notice the windmills behind obama in some of his previous speeches--powered by the turbine that Ge holds the patent on. Notice the cap and trade "credits purchasing system" in place that stand to turn Gore, Obama, Maurice Whacko Strong into billionaires is founded in Chicago and bank involvement for that scam set up is also supported bt none other than GE.

So when I but headsets for my business and they try to give me GE I get somethingelse. Anytime I can avoid appliances or anything by GE I run the other direction.

Nestle foods for a while. Now, Proctor Gamble. Nestle was the biggest seller of infants formula overseas to the poor. They touted their formula as being better for babies than mothers milk. They ignored the fact that many mothers could not afford enough formula to really nourish their babies, and would mix it weaker than it should be. Resulting in many children being undernourished. Proctor and Gamble just ticked me off, and it'llbe a cold day in Fire Lake, when I buy any of their products again.

    Nestle.

    The Nestle Boycott

    Why:
In order to sell more of its infant formula in third world countries, Nestle would hire women with no special training and dress them up as nurses to give out free samples of Nestle formula. The free samples lasted long enough for the mother's breast milk to dry up from lack of use. Then mothers would be forced to purchase the formula but, being poor, they would often mix the formula with unsanitary water or 'stretch' the amount of formula by diluting it with more water than recommended. The result was that babies starved all over the Third World while Nestle made huge profits from this predatory marketing strategy.

The thing I found interesting during this whole Nestle stuff (and yes, I boycotted Nestle too) was that they sold no infant formula in developed countries. The three major brands were Similac, Enfamil and SMA. Later, Nestle did market Carnation formula, but during the biggest part of the brouhaha, they weren't even trying to sell their formula in developed countries.

Planned parenthood is the leading provider of Surgical Abortions. It receives 1/3 of it's billion dollar per year budget($350 million) from federal govt grants so that it can pay for over 300,000 abortions per year.

Founded by Margaret Sanger, an avowed socialist hating capitalism even in the early 1900's. She wanted to segregate and sterilize those with objectionable traits and "limit" fertility chances for those less "fit" to have kids and preserve greater fertility rates for those "more fit" in the "upper classes". Maybe that's why the majority of planned parenthood business are placed in lower income minority neighborhoods. It fits her first pamphlet creation that states "It is a vicious cycle; ignorance breeds poverty and poverty breeds ignorance. There is only one cure for both, and that is to stop breeding these things." and "The undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind."

Her close friends; known anarchists Emma Goldman who probably was linked to President McKinley's assassination also a communist hater of capitalism and one who actively tried to create anarchy in America; John Reed an American Journalist and communist activist closely related to the leadership of the communist revolutions over seas; Upton...

That's just a surface scratch of who the founder was, her associates, and possibly the reason she was such a firm believer in abortion, birth control, and sterilization while placing her structures in minority neighborhoods

I have no problem with abortion (am EXTREMELY pro-choice), birth control or sterilization if someone wants any of the above. they are all personal choices. Personally I like planned parenthood for they are places, and another resource for teens if they wish to obtain any of the above.

While the founders weren't exactly the best people out there the over all purpose for planned parenthood is a positive one IN MY OPINION.
