Yes, I've been to three different Hooters. Most of the servers were efficient and friendly. The food is really good with generous portions. However, I have heard that the Hooters girls are sometimes mistreated by the restaurant manager. Of course, the male customers love the girls, especially when they bend over the table to take their order! It is rather noisy since the bar and giant TV are in the middle of the restaurant, surrounded by the booths and tables. Between 1-10, I give Hooters a 7.

YES ..
when you work in a field where being female is unusual ...
most of the time when you have lunches out for Job Transfers, Promotions, any reason to get together ..
the Guys usually find something like the Hooters for their choice ..

The food .. URGGGHHH .. not good at all ..
not impressed with the service either (the servers ignore the females at the table)

Yes I have been there many times and enjoyed the food...awesome wings & sandwiches...also the waitresses are as nice as they can be & wear more than I have seen some wear on the streets.

I probably will NOT check out Hooters. It's not exactly the sort of place which caters to women, and as other women have said, the servers know their bread and butter, so they ignore women. If I was taken there by a date, I would probably not want another, unless it was some sort of joke. The closest one is over 100 miles away, so it isn't exactly on my must see list.

I never had a problem with the service when I went there with girl friends. A server waited on us right away, checked with us twice to see if everything was all right, refreshed our drinks promptly, and brought the tab soon as we asked for it. The service was as good as when I went there with a date.

Still isn't the sort of place I'd want to patronize. Why would I want to pay extra for ordinary food so I could ogle women in tight shirts with large breasts? I'm not into women. I'm more interested in men. LOL!

Oh, sorry! I love the food there. My experiience with the service has always been good or, at least, satisfactory.. When I went to Hooters with another girl, the server did not ignore us at all. She brought us a menu right away, checked on us twice and brought the tab soon as we asked for it.

I was in Uniform with Rank on my shoulders too ..
it was INFURIATING to be ignored and get poor service ..
while the guys were fawned over by the Servers ..

I can certainly understand why you were infuriated to be ignored and get poor service by the Hooters servers while they fawned over the guys! I'm sure the service varies by each Hooters. I found out that a lot of the Hooters girls are married with children or else they are single moms.

That still doesn't excuse their POOR Service ..
especially since I am a SINGLE parent ..
and was parenting as a SINGLE while in the Service too ..
(this is why I'll never go patronize any Hooters at all .. NOT ONE PENNY)
on top of it .. the food was Terrible!

No, of course not, it doesn't excuse their poor service in your case or any other females. The reason I said that the service varies from each Hooters is because I had stated that my girl friends and I were not ignored by the Hooters servers in my exoerience. I don't blame you for not going back to any Hooters. I feel the same way about Pomadores Italian Restaurant (chain). My friend ordered a Screwdriver but they were out of orange juice (What?!)) so he ordered a different drink, and they out of that too! (Yet they have a full bar!) I didn't care for the bread so I ordered a plain roll, but no rolls to be found! (And it was only 7:00 pm,) Also, the food was not good at all. My pasta is better! Plus, the waitress was very slow although there were only three other customers! That was my first and last visit to that baadddd restaurant!
