Have you ever been to a gay bar ?

I want to once I'm 21 though...

I went there because my gay friend wanted me to go. They did talk to me and one made out with me. I have to say I liked it then we had sex. I loved it. We have been doing this for 3 months now.

yes I went with some of my friends years ago. it was ok. but isnt any place I choice to be. BUT i also do not go to any bars.

All the time! Met a few of my previous boyfriends there and had a fun night with many of the other single pringles there ;)

But I don't see any problem of going into one. :) Gay people are people and have fun just like anyone else.

Absolutely. Played a few gigs in a couple as well. People are people! You can have a great time anywhere.

I went with a friend. Yes, I was hit on but they were respectful of my denial.

It was a place called "tracks" in Ybor city just outside of Tampa....they had a drag show and if you didn't know these "women" still had their junk intact if you saw them out on the street you would be none the wiser. They also had the coldest beer ever.

but I haven't since my daughter told me her friend saw me leaving and wanted to know if I turned gay...

Many times when I was young and lived in the Big Apple. There was a robust bar scene there at the time, and I had a close male relation who frequented them incessantly. So we did do all the Greenwich Village places. We had the deliciuos gigantic burgers at the 9th Circle... I don't remember the names. I guess I was too young. It was very obvious when the epidemic hit and everything closed, including the inane Bicycle Club in Englewood, NJ.
After that all the eateries closed, and the only place you could get a bite after the disco anywhere was a restaurant manned by the Black Panthers, The Pink Tea Cup.
I found a few other pics of interest but I did not find the real good places wtihout the names. I haven't been to NYC since I left in the early 90's. I remember going to some place called the China Empress with two males I met at Mickie Mantle's, a baron the east side. They were not gay. They were returning after holding losses, but having a good time in Atlantic City. It was the accountant's birthday. It was a great place the boys heard about with paintings of The Stones all around the walls, complete with Brooke Shields and boyfriend dacing right next to us.

No and from what I've heard I'd be bored with it. For one thing, gay bars are probably for gays, which I'm not gay. Second of all, I don't drink all that much and the bar is expensive. And third off, there's a lot of dancing there from what I've heard, and I don't/can't dance lol but that's just me.

My wife and I used to go to them sometimes. They were the best, and just about the only places to go, if you really wanted to get down and just dance back then.

I went to HEAVEN in London when I was 27 and it was amazing and the men in the cages dancing were gorgeous ,music was pumping and the people we met in the club were great .

No difference to a straight club what so ever except gay men dress far better oh and men did not hit on me but women did .

I have been to gay bars with gay friends and straight friends. And I always had a good time.

Yes I have and while I didn't quite blend in I felt quite welcome by everyone there,.. It was a blast, a riot of dance and music, and loved most every minute of the evening with friends.

both times i had so much fun and i felt at home both times i got tons of complements on my dress and hair , and a few asked to have pictures with me and one guy bought me some brews and danced with me ...... ah good times

My ex-gf dragged me in there once or twice. It was a decent enough club, but I felt out of place there. False advertising or something.

Once, on accident. We payed the cover charge and noticed there really were no guys but it really did not dawn on us that we were in a gay bar till we went to the bathroom.

They were much easier to get into, when I was underage, than straight bars.

By accident. Me and my cuz was strollin downtown and we saw colored lights flashing. So we decided to check it out. It was kind of dark but cozy inside side. We went up to the bar to get a beer and we noticed that the bartender was rude. So we got the beers and sat down and got to looking around, when our eyes adjusted to the dark, DAMN! we realized that we were in a gay bar. We drank our beer and rolled. No I didn't like it.

I had a woman who use to drink in mine ,she owned two made a lot of money a high roller.
