I was told by a manager that I was on the bubble,at a record store I worked at.Typical politics in retail. It was near Christmas & he wanted me to be there only for the holiday rush. I left the day before Christmas Eve.
at 16, I worked in a restaurant... I had a crap car that was always breaking down... One night a waitress moaned her tips were missing from her purse... Owner fired me - saying he figured I stole it to fix my car... later she remembered taking it out of her purse when she went home on her break... He offered my job back - I told him where he could stick his job!
got rehired by the same guy a week later...I called his wife a bitch, she complained, he had to fire me because of her....he couldn't find a replacement...he rehired me and told me to never talk to his wife and he laughed when he confirmed that she was indeed a bitch....
