    On a thread called how would you react if you found a Klan robe in the trunk of your friends car would you remains friends with that person. In my usual humorous manner I responded if he was my good friend (I'm Black) he would be the worse Klansman ever. Someone called me a racist because I didn't believe a Klansman would have Black friends...... True Story!!!

    Many people throw that word around to attempt to discredit those with which their philosophy does not match. You don't agree with Al Sharpton (racebaiter extraordinaire): YOU'RE A RACIST. Don't like Obama's politics: YOU'RE A RACIST. You don't like an individual because of their obnoxious, crudely sexist, materialistic and violent personality: YOU'RE A RACIST.

    The fact of the matter is that PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE. Racists come in all shapes and colors. IT IS, however, possible to dislike an individual for their character and lack of principle and have that disdain have absolutely nothing to do with the color of their skin.

    Of course. I once defended the logic of a comment on Youtube stating that not all people who are against immigration is a racist. I must have gotten at least six replies stating that I'm a racist, Neo-Nazi, Republican sheep, etc.

    The most humorous part about the whole situation is the fact people tend to assume that you're a white American if you ever state anything about immigration having many flaws. Hmm... newsflash, I'm Japanese born and raised, and I now live in Scotland... yeah, haha.
