I was watching Travel Channel's Baggage Battles where people bid on lost or unclaimed luggage from airports. they then take the merchandise to antique or pawn shops and try to get a profit from their investments. it was a fun show!

My husband and I used to have a Friday Night date. We would go out to dinner and then to the local auction. We purchased many lovely things over the years and made some fantastic deals.

Yes stand back and watch the skulduggery that goes on at auctions serious ones I mean, price pumping and all sorts of nonsense can and does occur.

they can be interesting and fun at the same time . Just keep your hands on your lap unless you are bidding.

Been to many an auction, sale barn you know. We take our cattle to the sale barn and have them auctioned off

I've been to estate auctions and bought boxes whose contents were unknown.

The smaller ones ..
It can be a bit of fun .. just investigating what you can find ..
Don't like to spend a lot .. but sometimes I get a lot box and can find things inside that I can recycle into artworks that I create ..
