For me faith is the belief in something without any supporting evidence although I do have faith in mankind. It would be depressing if I didn't.

I've had my questions and struggles over the years, but I always knew who was ultimately in charge.

No, I have full faith in God, it has seen me through some tough times in life and I am grateful for it. I am a poor christian and admit it because I have a problem with religions which are man made, but have profound faith in Jesus and our father God.

When my Mom died I was 17 years old. My faith became very shaky. But God put me back on the right track.

Back when I was religious, I didn't want to dedicate my entire life to God, since I found that boring.

Now that I think about it, I only really believed because everyone else did and I was afraid of going to Hell.

After the failure of my first marriage I actually thought, my faith and beliefs had failed me terribilly,, when it wasn't an issue of God at all it was the failed tried & done mistakes that Humans do.

I think anyone who hasn't questioned things in life hasn't really dealt with whether or not they truly believe what they've been taught or are just being led around.

Not just shaky, but lost. From the time as a young boy until 1991 I was a firm believer in our lord god. After serving 10 years in the Marines I have had the opportunity to do amazing things for amazing people. From the USA to the jungles of SE Asia (not Vietnam), I have helped people in all dimensions of life, but it was in 1991 after finishing up the cleanup from damage caused by the volcanic eruption from Mt. Pinatubo that layered Subic Bay with over two feet of ash, we were called in for a recovery mission in Bangladesh from a cyclone that devastated the Bangladesh coastline and a few miles inland too. When we landed in country I was horrified by all of the damage, death and carnage. I have never seen so many dead bodies in my entire life. Carrying young children, infants, the elderly, every walk of life in every age group was dead. Carrying the dead to a giant pit for mass burial as to help deter the spread of disease. I completely lost my faith. I could not understand how a compassionate god could so easily allowso many innocent lives to be wiped out in a matter of minutes. It was a very trying time for me, in personal life as well. I did not become an atheist, but decided to go the agnostic route. I am happy to say that slowly but surely I am beginning to come back to the Lord, especially sincemy wife is a devoted Christian. Regardless of my belief, I am a very moral person and those morals are based by what is written in the bible.

Whenever fear and doubt enter my mind, it is a sign of no faith.
