Has SodaHead improved your opinion of people in general or has it made your opinion of people decline?

People are entitled to believe what they want, that in itself does not bother me!!! My opinion has changed of people who fail to voice their opinions that they are entitled to. Never understood what was so bad about it!!!

I just hate when people have no proof to back up their opinions, that makes for a faulty argument on their part!!! Pouring your heart onto a keyboard makes you no more 'correct' than the oopponent!!! Not that anyone of them is correct but yeah

This site has helped me learn how to socialize better with other people,but my opinion of people hasn't changed,some people are nice and others are horrible.

I have said American on average are some of the dumbest people on the planet and Sodahead has confirmed that to me. Over and over and over. Just yesterday someone accused me of supressing opinions of those I don't agree with. I told him I have never supressed anyone's opinions and that to prove it I never blocked anyone but I will debate my point against theirs so he comes back calls me a FU*#ing something or other and tells me I'm blocked. Stupidy at it's greatest with that dude. This proves my point and he wasn't the only one to do that. If you can't win on facts block someones ass. LOL

You're not wrong, but I have had some similar experiences with people from Canada and the UK, especially on political questions. Kinda surprised me.

We as humans live in a big world but have a small circle of friends. We form opinions from them but then I come on a site like this and hear how people talk and how they think and I just can't believe we are the most intelligent beings on the planet. I guess some feel the same way about my way of thinking.

For the most part (not all), I have found people being thoughtful on issues - of course some act like petulant children and hurl hyperbolic nonsense but for the most part people seem to have thought about issues and that is refreshing

People are still people. They are different and yet all the same.

Yes, and it usually devolves into name calling. This place is getting as bad as YouTube. I never participate on there. I just watch whatever video I am interested in and ignore the horrible, mean, illiterate comments.
You're right there are people on this site that can actually debate without getting ridiculous, but not many.

Youtube is by far the worst.

Oh, I agree, it's just that I have been seeing a lot of the same type of loonies on here. Drive by insults, poor spelling and grammar, incomprehensible logic, hate filled diatribes replete with name calling...you know, the works. Hopefully this will never be as horrid as YouTube.

There are great people and then there are those we have to work around.

I have always thought very little of most others and being on Sodahead (or any other social media site) hasn't made think it is getting worse or better.

Although i was impressed that many people are quite intelligent and have well thought out opinions (whether they agree with mine or not) I have noticed that TONS of people talk from their emotions, don't know what they are talking about, never do the research, and just follow what their fellow zombies are doing and saying without thinking.

My favorite thing is when people regurgitate the same catch phrases over and over again regardless of what is being said.

I have found that people at Sodahead...well most of them are very cordial and respectful of opinions....not many bashing you cause we don't think the same....I like that.!

Actually, this site surprised me and showed me that there are a lot of uneducated, loud mouthed bullies out there. I didn't expect that. I have taught school for 36 years and have been around academics who don't put each other down for thinking differently. I have been around friends and family who show respect for one another and allow people to make political and religious decisions based on their personal convictions. I am also stunned at the ignorance of many of the comments and the eagerness to say rude things to others, even, when the comments made, make no factual sense. Opinions are fine, but to state an opinion and rant that it is the word of G-d is not only narrow minded, but mean. Everyone is entitled to believe, worship, and vote how they want. I am also stunned at the grammatical errors ( not typical typos) and lack of sentence structure. That being said, there are also some lovely, kind, and intellectually superior people in sodahead as well.

I have to admit...I have those too...I just don't focus on those....kind of in one ear and out the other type thing....the one's I focus on are the respectful...and helpful ones....

When it comes to Conservatives my opinion of them is worse then it ever was. I've never seen so many vile, dishonest, self-rightious idiots in one place other then on here.

I thnk when you mark a particular party like that ....it's not good...the reason why I have been hit just like you said from the same idoe's that are democratic as well.....remember...this is just opinions....you can't change an opinion...so why fret over it...I don't.....hope I didn't offend ...not my intention...

He said conservatives not democrats or republicans. Conservatism is an ideology not a party. Some democrats are conservatives and most republicans are conservatives.
