Last time I costumed (and trick-or-treated) was 1999. I always went with scary... and tended to win scariest costume.
One time the contest didn't even have a "scariest" category. They created that category to give me the prize.

Halloween is a pathetic day where people dress up as if they have no self-respect, dress their kids up, and they all go out in town to BEG STRANGERS FOR FOOD like a homeless person in cosplay. Is there no low we as a western society won't stoop to?
