Apple Martin seems to have taken a page out of Willow Smith's book. The 8-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was seen with a head of pink hair at Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne" show at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night. Apple's mom and her 6-year-old brother Moses were by her side, Us Weekly reports.

Paltrow, 39, who happens to be good pals with Jay-Z and Beyonce -- tweeted a picture of her kids enjoying the show. "Jay is one of the people I respect most in the world," the actress has said. "He's such an iconoclast in so many ways."
Firstly, we have to wonder if Jay-Z and Kanye are age-appropriate entertainment for an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old. And secondly, we're wondering if Apple is still too young for punky pink hair, even if she is rock royalty. What do you think?

- jaydenvdv 2012/05/23 18:43:40No+3Actually I love it! I started dying my daughters hair last summer, she is 6. She has had purple streaks and red and pink. not all at the same time. I did however get into a situation when we had friends over and were dying hair, one friend has an eight year old, we did her hair, and my other friend has a 3 year old and we did the same with her. However the three year olds mom FLIPPED OUT! (we had dad's permission). I don't understand the freak out over hair dye. It's hair, it will either grow out or wash out. These are not huge issues!!!reply

I can understand flipping out over hair color on a 3 year old for several reasons. But on the most logical one....my husband rarely knows major events I have planned even when I tell him. I would have been peeved if he did something I didn't like with my son's hair just b/f family pictures, a wedding, etc. An 8 year old is old enough to consent, a 3 year old just thinks is pretty. Now if it washed out the next day...that isn't a big deal, but if it had to grow out....then I would be much more upset.reply - I<3Edward 2012/05/23 18:41:38No+2how fun.....although my parents would probably flip out if they saw me with pink hair :/reply
- TaniaHoenink 2012/05/23 18:26:43YesThough it greatly depends on the type of hair colouring. I personally wasn't allowed to dye my hair until I was about thirteen or so.reply

- Shawna 2012/05/23 18:04:33No+1Pink hair is quite harmless and I would expect it to appeal to little girls. It's not necessarily punk, it's also princess.reply

- FlyAway 2012/05/23 17:58:35Yes+2Eight does seem a bit young, but if she wants pink hair then that's up to her and her mother to decide what she does with her hair. I must admit it does look cute.reply
