would it annoy you if your girlfriend kept calling you "amazing", "incredible", and saying "i care about you" and get kind of "sappy" i guess you'd say? does that annoy you? just wondering.

+1I like being told that my lady holds me in such esteem. I suspect the root of this question is a fundamental misunderstanding of the politics of relational power. In ANY relationship or negotiation, the person with the power is the one ready to walk away. Pity the poor soul who approaches love as a power play. They are not in love. Love is abandonment of power and ego for the immense rewards of vulnerability. That being said, it is a fool who mistakes submission for love.
