Guess what I found out today?

Ok, I can't afford to buy health insurance from my job, so I called around to see if there are any sliding scale medical facilities I can utilize. Well, I was talking to a social worker at one agency and this is what I found out. When obamacare hits, the federal government will offer health insurance, that you pay for, and if you have a pre-existing condition, you will pay at least $280 a month for it. I don't know if the type of "pre-existing" condition effects the rates, but, I just find it to be a crock. This doesn't help people who are barely making it already. What are we supposed to do? Not pay rent in order to have coverage? Having coverage is going to become mandatory, or else you will get fined 5% of your annual income. I mean, what?! What am I being fined for? Not to be able to afford health insurance? I mean what is that all about?

This is supposed to make health insurance affordable, and it doesn't, especially not when you make between minimum wage and $8.50 an hour. Also, where are the better paying jobs?

JOBS need to be created, and the cost of health insurance needs to go down OR jobs start paying better. So far, neither has, or looks like it will happen anytime soon.

These are my thoughts, what are yours?

This health insurance malarkey is, no better than our national insurance tax which is deducted at salary level.....currently around 14% of your gross annual salary add this to your income tax currently tarriffed at 22% of gross annual salary. It is barely worth getting out of your bed in the morning..

Welcome to Obama's America. Many are finding out that Health Insurance will be Mandatory. If you can't afford it now you won't be able to afford it later, but will be required to have it. So yes it will come down to the question of paying your rent, buying groceries or paying for health care.
Seniors will suffer right away since Obama has already pulled 700 billion out of Medicare to shore up his Obamacare. Medicare patients will find it will be harder to find a doctor or hospital to take them since Obamacare will put limits on how much they can charge. You will see Doctors refusing Medicare or just getting out of the health business. Hospitals will be going broke, and closing their doors.

While I agree something needs to be done about health care what has been done is not good. The whole bill needs to be scrapped, and taken back to the drawing board. We don't need to totally throw out, and start from scratch.

So now if you get readmitted too many times within 30 days? Wtf? still people will deny they are trying to depopulate us. This re-admission rate is bs because there are many diseases that u have to go to the hospital often. The idiots who voted for this guy make me sick.

I ask myself that everyday, and they lick up his lies like it's candy instead of the crap it is. There is so much truth in the comments made that the real problem is the people who voted for him, and are willing to do it again!

It's pure insanity. November will set the stage for our futures and half the country has lost its friggin' mind. That's real encouraging.

We could use more Mental hospitals for the nuts, and get them off the streets, and out of the voting booths.

Not enough land available for the number of buildings we would need.

You have discovered for yourself what many, many have been trying desperately to tell the public ever since this bad bill was proposed and since it was passed. 61% of the nation did not want and do not want this bill - it has 28 new taxes in it; my personal "favorite" is the taxes on useless things like heart valves, wheel chairs and all other medical equipment. It must be over turned or we will all suffer more for the policies of this very bad president.

It is expensive and needs to be corrected as much as possible. But letting Government take controll of healthcare coverage is a very bad idea.
