Goodbye Sodahead.

SLIDESHOW: Letting you know I have it better.

30 of 30

Goodbye Sodahead.
My time here is at an end, I will return, but in no rush, and not alone.

I have asked many intellectual questions on this site, but only 1% could respond with the level of intellect needed to debate any of the issues.

You all have the capability to use your high intellect, it is a shame so many of you refuse it.

I have my mind up

This site is still young and has a lot to learn, I will be back when you have matured more.

I know Sodahead so well that I expect people to pick on the fact that I am only 18.

I could never get through to these useless negative people, and I have finally given up.

If you are interested in what my life will comprise of while i am away, I am setting up night clubs and gigs, supporting many bands, and giving jobs to people in my community who NEED them, aswell as several homeless people.
I am also raising money to help one of my brightest friends, find care for his two parents whom are suffering from cancer. Until then, it is his job to take care of them, it seems only me god can relieve him of that duty.
I am good person, capable of evil, as even Jesus was.

It has upset me that people refuse to see Jesus in this light, I find it highly ignorant, and this was the straw that broke the camels back.
If you cannot understand, do not try to hard, just carry on living your indoor life.

You are free to be stupid, say hurtful things, and show no respect or common sense to anyone that deserves it, I will not silence you with clever comebacks and rhetorical questions.

To the many I have met who gave quality discussion, I thank you, I have learned, but I cannot exist here anymore as there are so many unwilling to learn.

To everyone else, go fuck yourself and good luck enjoying life with such negative closed off views.

When I return, I will return with other brilliant minds, and we will dominate this site.

Have a brilliant day.
Inside your dark house.

I will have a good day, regardless of what you say, feel or think of me.

Please do leave comments, I mean to offend none, only those who would offend me with disrespect, ignorance, blind faith, and stupidity. I will read your comments when I return.
You!

Your 'intellectual' questions are sophomoric at best. I suggest you take a logic and/or critical thinking class instead of asking simple questions on Soda Head.

The best way to change to content of a site that is dependent upon user created material is to produce the type of articles and discussions you find desirable.

In other words, we are the ones who make this site. If you don't like the content, take it up with the person in your mirror.

You have proven to be disrespectful ignorant and quite frankly stupid. Coincidentally, the same judgment you place on others. You have provided the proof allowing me to make these claims of you. You mentioned blind faith but it is YOU living by blind faith, not those who know God and therefore Jesus, who you choose to discredit with no authority to so. You abandon logic for the illusion of intellect!

Back to blind faith... Let me show you how you not only abandon logic but you have also overlooked the obvious.

Some people argue that faith takes over where reason leaves off. This is not so with Christian faith. Reason requires a foundation, which only the Bible can provide. There are only 2 choices, either we try to reason our way TO the truth of the Bible or we reason FROM the truth of the Bible. The first choice attempts to arrive at belief, without justification for the tools of reasoning, the second takes the Bible as the foundation for truth and the justification for all reasoning.

Faith is not without reason. Faith is not above reason, ...

The first choice attempts to arrive at belief, without justification for the tools of reasoning, the second takes the Bible as the foundation for truth and the justification for all reasoning.

Faith is not without reason. Faith is not above reason, or contrary to reason. In fact faith is demanded by reason. Everyone starts from faith, but not all admit it. Professed unbelievers say that they use reason as their starting point and not faith. We must ask though, what is their reason for trusting reason? The thing is, they don't have a reason for trusting reason, they have a 'blind faith' in reason.

Everyone starts from faith. The question is not whether we start from faith but whether we will place that faith in God or in man.

The faith of the professed unbeliever cannot give a reason for reason. Christian faith on the other hand is the basis for all knowledge. The Bible teaches that "All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ." (2 Colossians vs. 3), and that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." (Proverbs 1 vs. 7)

Christian faith is not blind, rather it is the pre-condition for rational thought.

I trust reason because it gives rise to the scientific method; which in turn makes planes fly, cures diseases, feeds millions and produces clean, drinkable water. In short, reason produces results.

You trust reason because "it produces results". Okay, but what is the foundation of "reason"? Does it come from a reliable reasonable source? Everything that results from the ability to reason, as you listed, only proves the value of reason, not the reason for it or it's origin or why it can be trusted to begin with. To say it is learned etc... would certainly make one question how we ever got to where we are today. Think about how lucky we are that the first people on Earth didn't do anything unreasonable and become the last people on Earth as well! Trial and error to learn what is reasonable certainly would have at some point caused "error" to end mankind. The laws of probability don't allow for this being a possibility.

The foundations of reason were created by humans. It was conceived within a human mind. Reason does not have an external and eternal existence outside of the human mind. If you have evidence to the contrary, I would be happy to review it.

Reason can be trusted, as I mentioned previously, because of its track record of success. Reason consistently produces measurable results that benefit actual lives. That is how we know that reason can be trusted.

Who has claimed that the first humans did not do anything unreasonable? Likewise, who is claiming that the last humans won’t do anything unreasonable? Humans do all sorts of unreasonable things all of the time. What about it?

Seriously, self destruction as a result of unreason has not been a realistic possibility for the majority of human existence. We have only recently conceived of weapons that might actually have a chance of killing all humans on planet earth. Fortunately, the reason required to construct these weapons has also led us to question the morality of using these weapons.

Regarding the laws of probability, they don’t work very well when discussing events that have already transpired. For example, the chance that President Lincoln was assassinated at Ford’s Theater is 100%. Likewise, the chance that life would appear on planet Earth is 100%.

Let me give you one more example. The chance that human beings will survive until today despite being unreasonable is 100%.

if you must go but remember this in all your travels, no matter where you go you will have an opposition to your thought, you will always find someone who thinks different. Remember this is what democracy is all about. It is not suppose to be political it is suppose to be different or specific to that person who you are talking to, that is what makes us human.
If you must go than good luck and enjoy your life as best as you can, good-bye.

Time to take a moment to reflect, Mo.. Funny, I just finished a music video that has Barack, Al, and Tina singing "Let's Stay Together." It's a good theme, a positive one -- 'we've gone this far, let's stay together.' Some of my friends who are supporters of the president say that they are cooled out, then lifted up by listening to the song. Hope you sort it out -- hurry back. Oh, yeah - here's the link:
