Good enough to get in to Yale?

I think you would need a higher GPA for an Ivy league school.
I want to go to Harvard and I'm really going to try raising my GPA because I'm not happy with it... Its not low, but I think it could be better.
But it is a good start to have a 93.9 GPA :D

Yeah, I know I need a higher GPA, definately, but I don't know, it should be a good start, haha. Yeah, same here, it's not exactly bad, but it could be much better in my opinion. At least someone else is thinking about a good college, most of my friends just say they don't care or will end up going to some community college... Which is all right, we're only in Junior High (my friends and I), but I don't know, I've always been a nerd, haha.

Haha same here. Some of my friends are very intelligent, and they are planning on going to a community college. I'm going into High School when summer's over and I'm really scared that my GPA will drop because of the difficulty or the pressure of keeping a high GPA. I have always wanted to go to Harvard, and I think I'll be devastated if I'm not accepted. So I'm working myself to the bone to be the best in my school haha.

Yeah, some of my friends just get through school with the highest grades so easily, and it drives me crazy, haha. Yeah, I can understand that, I'm sure I'll be worried about the same thing when I go to high school the year after next. I've always thought that Yale would be the best place for me to really show people my ideas and independence, and if I don't get accepted, I know I'll be aboslutely desvastated, but then I'll just tell myself that the school wasn't right for me, not that I'm not right for the school. Yeah, I will be working very hard, studying a lot, doing extra things for the community and after school... The hard part is, field hockey is everyday after school (games on Saturdays), and so are a lot of clubs, so for the first quarter of the year, I'll be juggling a lot of things, including dance and stuff...

Wow. I know what you mean. I have Cross Country and also I'm going to be in debate club (I want to become a lawyer) I also have to be part of volunteering and community service. I hope that I can continue to do well in school, because I've never gotten less than an A on anything in my whole school career. I always do extra work even when I don't need to... Its frustrating but I just can't help myself.

Yeah, I'm going for debate club as soon as I reach high school. I've always loved debating, I'm not sure why, but if I do anything in high school, it's gonna be debating. Law isn't really my thing, but it's good to know somebody else is going for something in their life. My whole life is art, music, and literature, so Yale would be so great. I'm starting to get involved with things, like asking my mom if she could ask around, find me stuff to do, anything. In elementary school, I failed Math once, and I think that's the only time I've done worse than a B. But I don't think that would really be held against me. I've always been an overachiever, I wouldn't be able to stand failing at anything. People tell me to take it easy, but honestly, I can't help myself either.

I love literature too! I love to write and read. I am also planning to become a writer (possibly, I don't think I'm that talented, but my friends keep insisting) but for now I'm just writing a couple random stories. :)

I do the same, haha. I mostly write fan fiction, for practice, but sometimes if I get an idea, I'll try it, haha.

Same here. I usually write when someone gives me an idea, and I just branch it out further to create a story :D
