Glitter nail polish isn't just for little girls anymore. The trend has taken the fashion world by storm, and many find it quite chic.

What do you think? Too childish, or just the right amount of class?

I used to really not like black polish, but now i find it quite fashionable and just plain beautiful.

It's fun, but I wouldn't wear it in an atmosphere in which I was trying to be taken seriously as a professional adult. Outside of work, it's great.

That's true I guess. I see what you mean. A lot of professional places don't really condone any kind of makeup or beauty enhancers.

I have a blue pastel that I put a darker blue big glitter on and when it's all done it looks like a cupcake!!!

I wouldn't excatly say it was childish or classy but in the right setting and with the right look glitter nail polish can look very casual or more dressy.

i dont wear polish period. it makes me nervous. i hate to wear it. it chips always and i cant stand it.

I don't think its especially childish or classy. I wouldn't go so far as to call it childish, though it may be inappropriate to wear it in some cases. Wearing it doesn't make you classy though either.

Actually...it allows you to put your favorite glitters (high end craft stores have some real high end glitter) into polish and create a look NO ONE else has....I've been doing it for years, and it takes LESS time than trying to pick stock colors that will achieve the desired effect...
