As yet I don't need either, but when I do it's going to be glasses. I don't think I could use contacts. Makes my eyes water just thinking about it.

I use to wear contacts, but I like glasses a lot more because he can take them off easily were as you have to take contacts out and put them in a special container with water in them.

It's not that I'd rather use glasses, it's that I don't realistically have the option to use contacts. I tried, years ago to use them. I'm like a little kid-I always rub my eyes when I get tired=corneal abrasions. Didn't go well.

Absolutely love my contacts. It feels like they melt on my eye. I never have problems with them and I forget they're even there.

I wear contacts every day. I have such poor vision that glasses just really are terrible since they don't cover your peripheral.

Me personally if I needed such things I'd choose contacts. I love dressing up and wearing makeup. Glasses make that difficult at times especially if you really really need them to see.

Do I like contact's?...yes. Do I like the hassle?...no

I spend a lot of time outdoors in the spring and summer and glasses just make life easier. I carry 2 pair everywhere I go should something happen to one set. We go to Galveston a lot in the summer and the mist from the saltwater breeze off the ocean is less then pleasing when it gets between the contact lens and the eye.

I'm supposed to wear glasses thanks to an astigmatism... (my left eyeball is the shape of a football, rather than a globe as it should be) and would love to try contacts because glasses sitting on my nose (been broken many times) cause really bad headaches

As I stated in the last thread on this subject, Contacts are unsafe in my line of work and it would be a waste of money to use them.
