It actually depends on the guy. Some guys look better with short hair, but I have a thing for guys with long hair. There's a primal sexiness about a hot, muscular man with long hair.

I'm in the mind set that shorter hair on a man is more appropriate, now yes a man can pull off having long hair, take for example Chris Hemsworth as the Thor character, he pulled of the style well, but I just believe its a tad manlier to have short hair. That said, I have short hair just for the simple fact with long hair I look lazy, with short I look fierce.

It really depends on what looks best on that guy. Some guys can pull off the long hair looks, others can pull off short hair, and some can pull off both. An example of a guy who looks hott with long hair but is UGLY with short hair is the actor who played Byron Sully on the show Dr. Quinn Medicine woman. Also historically guys had longer hair than what we often realize because at one time their was a superstition that if you had your hair cut too short you'd bleed to death. Heard that from a friend who went to school to be a barber and he said they taught them that in barber school. So real short hair on men is a recent development and not historically the norm. Personally I think that the perfect look on most men is the shaggy look where it isn't long but it isn't short neither. Guys who can pull off the long hair look are extra sexy!

I like buzz cuts and bald men. I think it's because I could never get into the bathroom to do my hair growing up because my brother spent what seemed like hours primping in there. After watching him do that all through high school, I've come to find men "doing their hair" as effeminate and annoying.
