Girls Trying to Look Like Living Dolls: Sweet or Sick?

If these girls want to look like dolls, and they like looking that way, is that not being themselves

i totally agree! it is artistic and creative! its a freaking picture people! get off your high horse! Its a captured pic..imagine a day in the life of this woman. She sits in the chair either her or her make up artist..get the lashes on ..just right...the concealer just perfect...matte or shiny...the lighting is perfect..the wig is on straight...and she FREEZES..eyes straight ahead...playing possum...and click..click click! Wig comes off..face washes clean, camera and lights all gone..and this same young lady goes on to live her :"regular" and "normal" life! And that is ALL! Its no different than dressing up for a party, or a ball, halloween, Mardi Gras or what ever thing that we ALL do from time to time. I say to the naysayers..go screw yourselves! All that negativity, over this..we have bigger fish to fry!

I don't exactly find it sweet, but as long as they aren't getting surgery to look like dolls, they are just being themselves really. If looking like a doll on youtube to get companies to send them free junk to review, why not use what God gave you? It's all superficial nonsense for people to waste their money on while there are people starving in the world, but what are you gonna do about it?

This is sick. When I was little, I always thought I would grow up and look just like Barbie. (I had the blue eyes and blonde hair). Now when I look back, I know its horrible how they twist little girl minds into thinking they have to look like that one day. If teens are doing this now, its obvious Mattle's brain washing worked and lasted...

When I was a little girl, I played with dolls, but my parents would not let us play with barbie because she had boobs, we were really sheltered...
I didn't get my first barbie until I was 48... And its a collector item

if you are born with the natural china doll look {i was and i still have it} i find no problem with this. i think it is very cute. now changing things with surgery is another idea! natural is great but it is all in the opinion of the parents and the girl. they need to parent with their own veiws.

The Barbie doll may be pretty but it is deformed by human standards and girls should want to look like themselves and be happy with who they are not become something superficial.

If a guy is interested in this, why just buy a "Real Doll" and get it over with? It might be expensive, but so is a high-maintenance female that is trying to look like a doll and it won't ever leave your pitiful ass.

I think every young girl goes thew a few fads before finding herself. This seems harmless and fun. I can only hope with time they emerge as the real beautiful women they are.

These aren't young girls, they are young woman...

The blog states young girls, and young teens. I find that very fertile ground for this type of fooling around. Anything over 21 needs to seek help ASAP.

For me it was twiggy, Stevie Nicks, Sophia Loren and a few others...Twiggy was beautiful and every where we looked. BUT that did not last long and neither did she LOL A fad is just that..a fad.
