I only like making gingerbread houses if it's not from a kit. Other than that, I have more fun destroying the houses than I do building them, anyway, so I choose that.

most kits you can buy taste awful... something to do with making them work for building, I guess, but over the years, I've found one mix, and one scratch recipe that taste wonderful, and work great for building too!

Too much sugar for my tastes--plus I can never decide how to eat them anyway. If you make them and leave them up for display through the holidays, they're too stale to eat anyway.

I have never made one but they seem like a fun part of Xmas for many people but at the moment I am too busy designing a cardboard church for my daughter .
Maybe when I have finished this architectural project xxxlolxxx I can make one of these .
My gingerbread house is gonna have a games room and a pool out back xxx lol
