Is it ok to convince your boss to get rid of a person at work so your friend can be hired in his/her place if there is no vacancy?

- Sarah TH Marshall Switcher 2012/06/13 17:11:16WrongUnless the person is terribly under qualified and you get them fired by working them out of a job, it's a dick move. The fact that you have to get someone fired to get your friend hired shows that your friend isn't worth employing in the first place.reply

The person I speak of was at her job for ten years, she knew her job very well. In fact, was always commended for her hard, yet efficient work. The instigator is a bully, and went to school with the boss' boss, and boss was terrified to say anything to her, for fear of retaliation.reply - Jackie G - Poker Playing Pa... 2012/06/13 17:08:05WrongIt is wrong and I would have serious concerns about the character of the person who would do that.reply

+1Very much so. This person's ethics are very questionable, as she has lied in the past about being involved in certain incidences, and because she (bully) is very good friends with boss' boss is never questioned.reply - Sister Jean 2012/06/13 17:05:27Wrong+2no integrityreply
