You!

This is a tough one; if both are ok with it, fine. The only problem I think that happen is if one of them develops more intense feelings for the other, while that other doesn't feel the same way. How about you? What do you think?

Not for me.As lonely and difficult as it may get being single.I value myself and my sexuality far too much to ever take it that lightly.

It can be fun, yep! It does carry risk of one having feelings later on that are not reciprocated as you pointed out. Thanks!

Yes it does happen. Just being human and feelings will always be thrown in. Be it male or female

I think it's true for pretty much every human being, sex is meant to be something that two people in love do, one person is always gonna develop feelings. Friends with benefits is an idea that lives on borrowed time. Trust me.

I dunno; I think it's possible to separate sex from love a lot easier than many people would think. Every one is different so I can honestly say that not all would have a problem with friends with benefits set up.
    Your ideal is beautiful though.
  • jake L1 2012/06/18 23:52:34

LOL, it works perfectly, for awhile... then they either develop interest in each other or someone likes someone else and wants to be with them only. Matter of time. Your optimism is charming though.

It can be a dangerous situation, especially because women, in particular, have a hard time keeping their emotions from sex. If both understand the risks up front and are also up front about it if their emotions are getting intense, then...perhaps.

Agreed, and both need to keep honest about protection from STDs and contraception, etc.
    Thanks!

Of course. It be unfair and unjust to give someone a STD.

Even without that risk, to have multiple partners, but not be honest about it would not be a good thing.
