We got to see 3 shows from different locations, on 3 different nights, just standing out back. Our girls were thrilled; we usually just get 1 show.

Yes, went to seen fireworks, had some, and neighbors had some fireworks. This year
since Michigan past the law it was okay to have fireworks, there is a total of 12% tax,
it is divided up as 6% sale tax, 6% safety tax on all fireworks.

I did watch fireworks with my sister last night. And it scared the crap out of me. So loud. They are great to look at but I would rather not be there.

Just walked around watching, the housing addition I was in had a pretty hardcore unintentional display between two streets. Wish I had a video camera.

But on TV.. sadly my husband has to leave for work at 2:30 am so he had to get some sleep. Holidays in the middle of the week aren't good for us at all. And at midnight, fireworks are illegal again so no waiting till the weekend and lighting a few then.

Hope everyone else has a good time and stays safe.

Romero Britto's Gallery at the Lincoln Road Mall had a fireworks display, as well as, a Statue of Liberty. I missed real fireworks this year. I probably would be jumpy. Romero Britto Statue of Liberty

Yes, and while watching, wondering how much longer this country will be free to celebrate this holiday...I thought how fortunate I've been to have been born in the USA, and to have lived a very long time in the greatest country on the face of this earth. I am proud to be an American. I just hope that with the current administration trying to FUNDAMENTALY CHANGE this nation, that we can continue to be the best of the best. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA !

Fireworks are not allowed in my city but they shoot them off anyway. I found many bottled rockets in my backyard last year, so tonight I will be guarding my house with a hose!

Stay safe! People aren't suppose to set them off in most places where I live either but they still do. I try to keep and eye out for the ones that get set off in our parking lot WAY too close to the buildings.

I was already ready to go and view our town's firework display, had my awesome new camera and tripod... Only to find out they cancelled it this year! They have had it EVERY year as long as I can remember, but this year, none to speak of. Very disappointing, on top of that I hear a storm approaching. -_-

Someone take pictures for me. Lol
