Since when did it become 'suspicious' not to join in with the rest of the herd? I had a FB account for TWELVE HOURS before I ran screaming into the sunset. Their back-end software is SOME kind of scary shi'ite! Think the civilian equivalent of Carnivore.
That's right sports fans, Facebook's backbone is essentially the same software used by the government to track terrorists and drug kingpins!

Maybe I will just abandon my account like I did to MySpace.

You got to make a joke of this because if you took this serious you would end up barking mad.

i had one but i deleted it because i was continually being harassed and i got tired of the people on there

He doesn't do any of the games, and he really hates the "repost this as your status if you care about this or that" thing. He only uses it for certain purposes and in small doses.

Either way, there are perfectly reasonable young adults who don't have facebook. A lot of people deactivate their accounts when a change sets them over the edge, they just find it too invasive, or they just don't want to follow the crowd.
