This would certainly apply to "Forbes" magazine, which has
"dumbed down" its content in recent years.
See Aesop's parable of "The Fox and the Grapes."
PERIOD, END OF STORY. No test exists that measures that high.
PERIOD, END OF STORY.
Sorry to bust your myth. Their thing that gentlemen can disagree on, but this is not one of them. To those of us trained in the mathematics of statistics, you might as well be arguing that 2 plus 2=5.
0 standard deviations above the mean (the mean) or above occurs roughly 50% of the time (Not exactly 50%, the IQ distribution is not symmetric. The following calculations will assume it is.)
1 standard deviation above the mean, 115 IQ, or higher occurs about 16% of the time.
2 standard deviations above the mean, 130 IQ, or higher occurs about 2% of the time.
3 standard deviations above the mean, 145 IQ, or higher occurs about 0.1% of the time.
4 standard deviations above the mean, 160 IQ, or higher occurs about 0.003% of the time.
5 standard deviations above the mean, 175 IQ, or higher occurs about 0.00003% of the time.
6 standard deviations above the mean, 190 IQ, or higher occurs about 0.00000001% of the time. One in a billion.
7 standard deviations above the mean, 205 IQ, or higher occurs about 0.0000000001% of the time. One in a trillion.

-- There have not been enough living human humans to standardize the IQ test that can significantly produce an IQ score of 250.
-- Humans do nol live long enough to take the IQ test.
-- There has not been enough trees to make the paper to print the IQ test,
The OWNERS of this country want obedient workers - people just smart enough to run the machines and provide services, but dumb enough not to sit around the kitchen table and talk about how they were thrown overboard thirty years ago by rich f*cks who don't give a sh*t about them. (from George Carlin)
OF COURSE Forbes says IQ is overrated - IT'S BAD FOR BUSINESS.
I believe I saw where a 2 year old kid was inducted into MENSA. I thought it was ridiculous. I would say the kids parents overrated his/her IQ. I have no idea how a child of that age can be tested nor why anyone would want to except for bragging purposes.
It is a good tool to measure a person's ability when used properly.
Contrary to conventional wisdom and political correctness, teaching ones culture is essential.
It has been known from early times that failure to teach your culture to the next generation quickly leads to the demise of your civilization.
The main aspect of your culture is your language.

This would be extraordinarily different if the field of success being measured was say, scientific research, software development, etc...
Meh. ;-) It's just one more tool that is only as good as the test itself and it's context. IMO.
