I have always found a heart felt card filled with love is the best medicine. I've never asked for more from my kids. Now if they WANT to buy me expensive gifts, that's okay too. But I never EXPECT a gift.

I agree, through the years My Mother's Days have changed but still looking back their homemade cards and gifts were so touching, still have em. Best thing is to see or hear from them and feel the LOVE!!!

I'll let you know, I like that they collect the callouses skin instead of letting it fly all over. I get pedicures but I do aerobics and really have tough tough calloused feet yuk!!!

also have split ends so request she get me a Satin Pillowcase Hairdresser said this would help I'm just a mess lol

Got My Daughter in Law, Harry & David Gift basket, she's tiny and can afford the calories

Aww she will be very impressed and I got an excellent deal on it at JBR Jewelers in our mall. I have a credit card and I get all kinds of great discounts because I have that necklace in a ring. So my mom doesn't know yet but I may want to borrow it!lol

My mom is one of those: "I don't want anything and if you give it to her she doesn't say anything."

So...what i did was I made my own basket of things that she likes like potato chips and orange juice and some of her favorite hair products and tons of other stuff. I even vaccumed the whole house and dusted everything....took me more than 5 hours. She was very happy.

Now that I read back what I put...it sounds wierd. O.o

Because I do the potato chip thing instead of flowers...my mom is a little flowers are ok, but I know she would like the food to snack on her way to work.
