Floppy hats have made a resurgence thanks to style icons like Alexa Chung, Kate Moss, Rachel Zoe and Miranda Kerr (just to name a few), but what do you think of them?

MTV Style describes them as "stylish, functional, and the secret weapon for getting out of the house sans makeup and unbrushed hair." Do you agree? Do you think floppy hats are fashionable or frumpy?

I love love love old fashioned church hats, top hats, and floppy hats!

I only really like the first outfit though. For me, floppy hats are more suited to spring and summer, and casual outfits or sundresses.

I love hats on a woman and even little girls. Men look better in hats, too! I wear a hat most all the time.

well it kind of depends i think they are only fashionable on those with longer hair show in the pictures but if they have short hair i dont think its very fashionable

it just depends where you're going to wear your floppy hat to. Out to supper somewhere or out in the garden, or to the lake, or out in the fields chopping peanuts or hoeing cotton. Just depends

Provided that they don't go too far, ala. Lady Gaga. That would be
carrying things too far. That might be fine for LG, but not for the
normal public. LG aside, they can look fairly attractive, and yes,
fashionable, indeed.

They look fashionable when paired with the right clothes. If you look like you walked out of your granny's closet, you're doing it wrong (unless your granny has awesome taste).

I remember my Mom wear big hats when I was growing up they where very fashionable then. Now I look at them and they only look good on certain people.. Depends on who is wearing it and how they dress it up.
