Fleur de lis has been around forever

if i remember correctly it can be traced back to the 13th century i think but its origin remains unknown if im not mistaken it was first found in europe and is used to symbol saints and certin religions in france nobody knows who is the creature or pin point exactly when it was created what are your thoughts

    The fleur de lis was associated with Christianity before it was associated with royalty. It's a symbol of the lily which may be associated with the Song of Solomon verse, "I am the Lily of the Valley."
    My mother's grave stone in Northern Illinois has a fleur de lis on each corner.

    during the knights time that symbol was around it was used in churches and on some armor for the higher knights then the foot troops that tended to wear chain mail then the knights plate armor it was also in the monastery and it still is in many areas
