I think they can look nice on men, but not women. There is just nothing feminine about a flannel shirt, at all. I much prefer more feminine, girly clothes. I suppose some women can pull it off, but she'd have to have a fairly feminine, girlish figure and face, in my opinion.

I just can't "do" flannel shirts as this dope I went out with a long time ago who was dumber then a box of rocks always wore them with the white crew neck t-shirt underneath and with his desecration of the english language, lack of education, the only things he could find to talk about was hunting, fishing, shooting darts and drinking till he passed out....NO THANKS!!!!! When I dumped this uncouth slob, it was a happy day for me.
These things always make me think of red-necks so I nor my husband will NEVER own one.

I like to think of the flannel as a classic it will never really go out of style! I got a pink Fox hooded one and I love it!
I always picture it on tall skinny hippie types but I think anyone that is not already hidous can look good in one! They look even better on MEN!!!!

Guys, yes, but on a female only if you wear a sexy cammi under one and the shirt is form fitting. I don't think oversized flannel shirts on a female are flattering at all, but dressed up and they fit right, yes.
