FLAGS: if people try to take away the American flag, will they also try to change the "Star spangled banner" national anthem?

Which is more important. The American way of life or the American Flag? That might be too complicated. Which is more important. "Life" or "Inanimate Objects"...
Now what does Christianity say about worshipping inanimate objects. "Thou shalt have no other god before me..."
Point is... ideas change, even the Mighty empire that was Rome, fell. Your flag is your history, not your future. Remember that, because some day, your own life might depend on it.
But I wouldn't mind if they switched our National Anthem to America the Beautiful or something. I don't sing well!
The flag isn't the country, the constitution or the people -Neither is that crappy song.
I don't care if people worship the flag or burn it. The flag means nothing to me and you can't force me to worship it.
Pick another straw man argument.
Who abolished slavery first?
Wait wait, who has a code of military ethics that they rigorously stick to beyond that of the Geneva Convention more so than the other country as well.
Which country gets involved in more wars and kills more people even their own allies...
Personally I think America would have faired much better under Japanese rule, however there are many ideals that do not agree with the American way of life...like self restraint, dignity... calling them brutal just because they're different...
Go educate yourself...actually that's dangerous... head to your nearest university and ask them to educate you.
I live in the UK who's Monarch holds the same status as the Emperor of Japan has held since the Tokugawa Shogunate. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II rules by divine right ordained through the Church of England (since Henry VIII dissolved the Vatican's power in the UK...all because he couldn't get divorced).
Did I ever say the Japanese were giving up? No. Did that warrant the use of Nukes? No. As far as I'm aware, Pearl Harbour was a tragic accident at least that's conclusion I came to after seeing the evidence put forward by American Historians.
I do support every countries Sovereign right to defend itself... however nukes are not defending quite clearly. Nukes are wiping out indiscriminately hundreds of thousands of civilians. If my country was being invaded would I snipe the aggressors? Yes.
