Texas Teacher Has Group Sex With Students

A former Texas high school English teacher and mother of three is on trial accused of having sex with five male students. The jury has viewed an actual video tape of her having group sex with four of the students while the fifth recorded the act.

If found guilty, she could be sent to jail for up to 100 years.

How much jail time/parole do you think she should serve and what is your reasoning?

The guys were old enough legally. That they attended the same school isn't relevant.

I think people tend to underestimate the ability of teens to make decisions and people seem to think teens are less competent than they really are. I think calling this rape is somewhat of an insult to those who are physically forced to have sex. I would not have sex with a student if I was a teacher and I have not had sex with a teacher but I do not think it is my place to judge her.

Since the students were over 18 they can't get her on Statutory rape. However, they should certainly revoke her teaching license! Imagine how bad her husband and kids are feeling about this. My heart goes out to her family.

When I made my comment above, I was assuming, since the post neglected to say if the students were grammar school or college. Now that I hear they were over 18...that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

As a teacher she messed up big time. She should not be allowed to teach anymore. But prison time for having sex with males who were consenting and at least 18...that is crazy.

All the boys were 18 years old. Perfectly legal.

She should lose her teachers licence. What she did was wrong morally. You can't take the chance of her doing this to other kids. If I were the parent, I would be pissed, but I would know my kid was of legal age.

I know, right, this is the kind of stuff that almost all young boys talk and dream about in high school. As a parent it certainly concerns me but as a young boy, in all honesty, I would have been very hard pressed to muster up a no had a couple of my hot teachers offered lol.

First of all, I'm tired of these, especially male students having sex with their teachers being labeled as "victims". High school age, while being demented, isn't the act of pedophile. It isn't rape and it isn't sexual assault. They're mentally ill and/or spiritually void and need serious counseling at the very least and Jesus at the most.
