This is one very rare hair trend that works for women (and at least one man) as well as it works for dogs.
Feather hair extensions have been spotted on celebrities like Selena Gomez, Ke$ha and Steven Tyler, and, believe it or not, canines.

Puppylocks.com offers feather "fur extensions for pups" for $20, while the human kind e-tail for about $25 on sites like Sephora (you can also pay to have a salon put them in for you).

The feathers are attached to the root of the hair with metal clips and last for several months, the "Today" show reports.
