Fathers and their children at the library......not often do you see fathers with their children at the library on a week day....saw a dad with his little one today....should dads be more involved with youth during the work weeks?

Yes ... if they have time... the reason is that you will never know when you might not e around anymore... I can tell you that I remember my Dad face some what from all those time he had time to spend with us and he did .... I was 9 when I saw his face for the last time .. I am now 23 .. is not perfect image but I can remember he was awesome...

I spent most of my teens at the library, I think it'd be neat to introduce my daughter to a lot of my favorite literature when she's old enough to understand it.
My wife and I have a modest collection of books here at home that will need reading first though, that's bound to keep her occupied for at least a few years.

It's great for a dad to be able to spend time with his children and the library is a great outing. I always made it a special treat for my kids after doing their chores we could go to the library.

Yes. Conjugal roles in the family are still very much segregated though, men are expected to work and women expected to take the children out shopping, etc.

Speak for your own neighborhood...lol. I see dads with their kids constantly. There's actually a few stay at home dads on my block...

I haven't been to the library for a while but I did see a dad in the grocery store sporting THE CUTEST LITTLE BABY on his chest
