a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

    So in other words Liberals...

Our Dictator is Obama since he likes to ignore the constitution and tell Congress they have no authority and that he's the only one with power...

From reading the comments below, it is anybody's guess. Even the people with essentially the same answers find a way to disagree. But more than likely, it is an unfavorable government. Kind of like ours now?

Fascist/Nazi are incorrectly viewed as anything a Communist does not like; hence there quick use of that label. Often, fascist is used to describe amything outside govt control.

Mussolini was a rising star in the Internationals (later named the Comintern or Communist International), when he decided that he was proud to be an Italian. Marx's teachings became the basis for Communism and Fascism/Nazism. I use the combined term Fascism/Nazism Mussolini was a better philosopher than a general or leader. Hitler it it too its furthest test extent.

The main difference between Communism and Fascism is their outlook on the world. Communism, also known as International Socialism seeks to dominate the world.

Fascism/.Nazism seeks to dominate only a portion of the world.

There is another difference that one needs to keep in mind.

In a Communist system the party leaders actual run the industries, whereas, Fascists will pass enough laws that the owners do not have any discretionary powers remaining for them to run their own businesses. It is this difference that gives birth to the idea that the Nazis favor the rich.

Edited to move some of the content to a separate comment.

When all theory is tossed aside all that remains is both are a totalitarian political, socio-economic system in which the individual has any civil rights. The state is supreme and all is for the state.

Religion has no place in either totalitarian system. The Spanish Civil War was brought about by the freely elected Communist govt deciding to kill the Roman Catholic Clergy. The Commies killed about 25,000 priests, bishops, nuns, monks, and important laity, as well as other political opponents.

Franco drew his support from the people because he opposed the slaughter of the religious.
Hitler had some support from the Roman Catholic Church for a while because he had promised to prevent the Communists from the killings of millions of people as the world saw happening in the Soviet Union. That support ended in 1937 when a Roman Catholic Cardinal 'fell' out of a 5th story window after criticizing the Nazis.

Stalin killed more people (15 million Ukrainians) in the winter of 1932-1933 than Hitler did during his entire political life (13 million Jews and others in his camps).

Piss off Stalin and it was the Gulags if you survived the arrest by the KGB . Piss off Hitler and it was the camps if you survived the arrest by the Gestapo.

obama is a fascist, just like Bush and progressives are.

    Watch this and learn.

    http://www.myspace.com/video/...

Fascism is total control which is what the leftists do- aka:progressives. Leftists impose way too many regulations and rules, and neocons want more control of your private life. And don't kid yourself, obama re-up'ed The Patriot Act. This whole dem/rep things is an illusion. They all work for the same puppeteers.

Gov't having zero power is the far right= anarchy. Nazism, fascism, communism, socialism, monarchy, oligarchy, etc.... are far left which is gov't having 100% control.. The American gov't system is a Constitutional Republic which is ruled by LAW and it is pretty much in the middle enough so the people have freedom from BIG gov't and not total anarchy. Anarchy will lead to fascism.

A true Republican is neither right nor left. They are right where The Constitution stands. Democracy does not appear in The Constitution, The Bill of Rights nor in any of the 50 states Constitutions.

I don't understand where that comes in. Far as I understand protectionism has to do with tariffs on imported goods, restrictive quotas.

Great example of Fascists is ADOLF HITLER , Franco , Mussolini , Ava Perron .. Extreme RIGHT wing to the point of little to no human rights.....

Communism is definitely LEFT WING.......to the point of little to no human rights......( Both terms Fascist and Communism is bad).... Communism - Stalin, Lenin, Khrushchev, Castro , Kim Yong IL....

Now Marxism is an early form of Communism... named after Karl Marx... LEFT WING EXTREME..... was the start of Communism... SOCIALISM= Marxism= Communism...

IF i had to put a picture of Obama and someone .. the closest it would be - Obama/Stalin !

    Hitler was Fascist !

Just a few facts to catch you up.... LOL

The only thing to the left of Fascism/Nazism is Communism. Hitler was to the left of FDR.

Obama's placement as a Communist comes from his claim to be a citizen of the world and one who advocates a world run by the UN or something comparable.

    Hope this helps:

    fascism |ˈfaSHˌizəm|(also Fascism )
    noun
an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.
    • (in general use) extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.
The term Fascism was first used of the totalitarian right-wing nationalist regime of Mussolini in Italy (1922–43), and the regimes of the Nazis in Germany and Franco in Spain were also fascist. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach.
ORIGIN from Italian fascismo, from fascio ‘bundle, political group,’ from Latin fascis (see fasces) .

The totalitarian Communist system predated the Fascist/Nazi world view by many years.
Fascism/Nazism were an attempt to stop the evil of Communism, except the cure was almost as bad as the disease itself.

fascism is the repression of the individual for the good of the state. It is both an economic and social program, encouraging monopolistic conditions and strict regulation in the economy, conversion of the press into a propaganda machine, and restrictions on privacy and rights to property.

    Sound familiar...?
